Welcome to Bellville Golf Club. We strive to provide you with a complete service, ensuring that your golf day is a great success. In order for us to fully understand your requirements, we kindly request that you complete the following agreement and provide us with as much information possible.

I have read and agree with the Terms & Conditions stated below.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The visiting group will pay Bellville Golf Club the agreed price per player. Please refer to “GREENFEE PACKAGE” above.
In order to secure your booking, we require a R2000,00 non-refundable deposit as well as a signed copy of this agreement.
Service of Marshalls (2) to be rendered at a cost of R250 each for the group’s account.
All accounts (green fees & catering) to be settled before the actual day of play. The final bar bill to be settled on the actual day of play. Our payment details are: BELLVILLE GOLF CLUB, ABSA SANBEL, BRANCH CODE 632005 and ACCOUNT NUMBER 4051262390.
It is strongly suggested that the number of players is confirmed within seven (7) working days prior to the date of play. Should the number of players be less than originally booked, and no prior confirmation was received, you will be held liable for green fees as per the original booking.
The dress code of the club will be applicable. Golfers are generally dressed presentably.
Motorised carts are to be booked with the organiser of the golf day. NO carts may be used for the transportation of equipment and/or furniture to tee boxes or any holes on the course.
CATERING: All catering requirements for players and guests must be arranged through Patrik Patterson, patrik@bellvillegolf.co.za Visiting groups are under no circumstances allowed to use outside catering or bring their own food inside the clubhouse.
“Wet holes” must be arranged through the Operations Manager. Sponsors will be responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, umbrellas, glasses, ice etc.
All sponsors of greens and/or tee boxes will be shown where to set up and are requested to report to the Pro Shop prior to setup. This is to avoid any damage to the irrigation lines and being in the line of play. All vehicles will be shown how to access the course and where to park to avoid any damage to vehicles.
Confirmation: No Bookings are confirmed unless the deposit payable is received together with this signed and completed Golf Day Booking Confirmation Form, agreeing to our payment terms and additional information.
Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your golf day, we require thirty (30) days notice in writing of such cancellation. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The facilities of the Club will be made available to your players on the same conditions as are applicable to our Full Members.
Practice facilities may be used by members and visitors who have paid the required playing fee.
Markers are available for “Nearest to the pin” and “Longest drive”. Please inform us beforehand which holes are to be used.
Our Pro Shop is competitively priced and carries an extensive range of merchandise. Prize vouchers can be issued for redemption at the Pro Shop at Bellville Golf Club.
Available for hire: Pull carts @ R90 / Golf carts @ R390
Golf cart hire is subject to availability and prices are subject to change without notification.
Please provide us with your timesheet at least 4 days before your event. The tee sheet will be forwarded to our security and players may enter the club premises by giving the gate guard their name and tee-off time. In order to maintain standards and politesse on the course we need to ask for your co-operation. Please would you convey the following information to your fellow organisers and players:
Please ensure that all players are on the tee no later than 10 minutes before their tee-off time.
Slow play tends to be a problem. We allow two hours and ten minutes for nine holes and no more than 10 minutes spent in the halfway house.
Each player must have his/her own set of clubs. Sharing of clubs is not permitted.
Please adhere to the Club’s dress code. This is displayed in our Pro Shop and on the notice board.
All players must have a full sandbag when going out on the course and we expect each player to be acquainted with general golf etiquette.
All sponsors advertising must be removed by the end of the day.
Litter must be placed in the bins provided for that purpose. We look forward to welcoming you to Bellville Golf Club. We trust your day will be a huge success and enjoyed by all. Irrigation Levy - There will be an Irrigation Levy of R10 per round charged additionally, effective from 1 March 2019. This rate will be implemented per member of your group booked. METHOD OF PAYMENT (Refer to Condition 5 of the Terms and Conditions.)

4. No Single or Individual Competitions will be allowed as they encourage slow play. Marshalling is compulsory to avoid slow play. Service of 2 Marshalls for groups larger than 60 players to be rendered at a cost of R252 each - for the group’s account.

9. No food will be permitted to be served in the valley (Hole 1, 9, 10, 18)
10. Any handouts/private sales of beverages to be discussed with the relevant manager from the club first.
11. No braai facilities available. No open fire will be permitted for “Wet Hole” use, Gas only. (All equipment to be provided by the sponsors themselves)
12. “Wet holes” must be arranged through the Club Manager. Sponsors will be responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, umbrellas, glasses, ice, etc.
13. All sponsors of greens or tee boxes must be shown where to set up and is requested to report to the pro shop prior to setup. This is to avoid any damage to the irrigation lines and being in the line of play. All vehicles will be shown how to access the course and where to park to avoid any damage to vehicles.
14. Set up of the prize-giving area, “in the bar”, will be available from 15:00 on the day of your event.

No Bookings are confirmed unless the deposit payable is received together with this signed and completed Golf Day Booking Confirmation Form, agreeing to our payment terms and Additional Information.
